The fast-growing forklift solution provider Finnsiirto Oy has acquired Simeri Oy and Suomen Telakone Oy, thus creating a new operator with a significant role at national level with also a presence in the Baltics. Simeri Oy and Suomen Telakone Oy will continue to operate as independent subsidiaries. The estimated revenue of the new group for the current financial period is approximately EUR 60 million, and the group employs approximately 120 professionals.
Finnsiirto, founded in 1989, is a provider of forklifts and material handling solutions. The company sells and rents self-imported Hyundai and Ausa forklifts, other material handling equipment and used machines. In addition, the company services and maintains machines as well as provides spare parts and accessories. The clientele of the Finnsiirto consists mainly of industrial and logistics companies.
Simeri, an expert in aerial work platforms, was established in 1995. Industrial maintenance stands as the company’s core area of specialization in lifting devices. The company provides its services in 10 locations in Finland and in the Baltics. The owners of Simeri Oy, Pekka and Tommi Kolehmainen, will become owners of the parent company, Finnsiirto Oy, through their reinvestment and will continue in the management of the company.
Suomen Telakone, founded in 1989, is a company that specializes in selling new and used construction and earthmoving machines, servicing machines and selling spare parts and accessories. The company is headquartered in Humppila, and has an extensive distribution and service network. As part of the transaction, all shares of Suomen Telakone were acquired by Finnsiirto, and Matti Rautionmaa, the largest shareholder prior to the transaction, continues in the management of Suomen Telakone.
