Leguan Lifts Oy and Simeri Oy have reached a retail agreement that covers all Leguan aerial work platform sales and marketing in the greater Helsinki metropolitan area. The companies have collaborated in platform sales for several years now. In addition Simeri’s sister company, Simeri Estonia OÜ, began selling Leguan’s aerial work platforms in Estonia in 2019.
“Leguan’s self propelled platforms are a great contribution to our existing selection of aerial work platforms. We can now offer our clients options that cater to a wider range of needs”, says Tommi Kolehmainen- COO of Simeri Oy.
Simeri has a long history in maintenance of platforms, and sales of second hand ones, but within the past few years it has expanded into sales of new platforms. Its list of represented brands has grown from Genie to many others such as Snorkel and Nagano.
“Our clients often use their aerial work platforms in challenging locations that demand extremely advanced terrain features. Leguan platforms are market leaders in this segment”, tells Antti Alatalo, Sales Director at Simeri Oy. The new generation Leguans are equipped with several industry leading qualities such as an automated leveling system, which increases efficiency and user-friendliness when operating the machinery on uneven terrain.

Simeri has secured its place amongst the most significant operators in the aerial work platform industry in Finland. Leguan Lifts maintains a leading position in domestic markets of self propelled, support mounted platforms, but their clients from the Helsinki metropolitan area have been dealt with mostly from the factory in Ylöjärvi. Simeri’s local knowledge and a wide customer base, as well as its excellent showroom by Ring Road III, helps Leguan Lifts unite more closely with their clients in the area. At Simeri’s showroom clients can test drive the newest platforms and thanks to their warehouse delivery times have been minimised compared to direct factory shipments.
“I believe that due to the local knowledge, Simeri Oy is able to significantly boost sales by targeting new audiences that have not been used to Leguan’s self propelled platforms in the past”, comments Antti Sareela, Sales Director of Leguan Lifts Oy.
Simeri Oy’s salespeople organised a sales course in October and the newest models were available for test driving at Simeri’s showroom in Juvankartanontie, Espoo.
